What is step 2?

Step 2 means posting the before picture! I was hesitant to go public with this picture right away simply because it’s embarrassing. It’s the ugly truth right in front of my face! However, I decided if I’m going to be honest then I have to be 100% honest! I can’t hide behind nice lighting, pretty filters and the right angles in public so why do it on social media? Does everyone NEED to see my rolls or lovely cellulite? No, but this is for me and for the other girl/guy struggling with the same issues who may not be at a point where he/she is ready to share with the world his/her insecurities! I’m doing this to show that it’s okay, it’s a body and it’s okay to display your journey. Even the less attractive part of it because it’s not all bunnies and rainbows!

Step 1 was allowing myself to admit setback in order to allow myself to move forward. I let myself feel like a failure and didn’t want to admit defeat. I kept thinking I would just get the weight off and it would be as if it never happened, but that isn’t how it worked out. Honesty is the best policy!

I will be posting progress, struggles, goals met and more throughout the month! Stay tuned! I’m so excited to share this journey!
